Allie Mae

Dear Helping Hands Family-
I just wanted to tell you that bringing a puppy into our home has been such a wonderful thing. You were kind enough to let us bring her home the day after Christmas, which was so exciting for my parents and me. When I got to make a choice on a digital camera or a puppy…hello, why even ask?...We were lucky you were open on that day.
We named her Allie Mae and she now weighs 6lbs 3 oz. She is so busy and loves her toys. Her favorite is a squeaky bird, which she drags everywhere. She also has a rope bone, tennis ball, and a pacifier which she found under a bed in our house. It was left behind by my cousin last fall. Mom and dad bought her some breath mints, and we call them her reward candy. She loves them. I spent some of my Christmas money on some cute clothes, a bed, collar and leash for her. I don’t dress her up all the time though. She loves to have her picture taken and to go for rides with us. She also runs with my mom up at the school gym. Right now, she loves to sneak her toys under the ottoman, where she thinks that we can’t get to them! We did get her spayed and all of her shots. Our vet just loves her.
Anyhow, I just wanted to tell you how happy she has made us all, and we wonder how we ever got along without a dog in the house. Thank you for having the perfect one for us. I hope that you find homes for all the others. I can’t wait for spring, so that she can go on more walks with us. I love her very much.
Thank you
Kerrigan Simmons
