Our current shelter was built in 1973, and was originally constructed to hold 5,000 animals a year. We currently admit between 9,000 and 10,000 animals annually. Over the years, our shelter has deteriorated and we have more than outgrown its capacity. The time has come that we can no longer make due in the current conditions. As part of our Capital Campaign we are offering tribute bricks.

Bricks are being offered in two sizes:
4X8 - 2 engraved lines
8X8 - 4 engraved lines
(14 characters per line, spaces count as characters)

Currently, plans are to place the engraved brick near the entrance of the new shelter. This is a unique opportunity for pet lovers to help in building a new shelter that will be a part of the Topeka community for years to come.
