Shelter Fees
Our adoption fees are as follows:
$99 - Adoption fee for cats $50 - Adoption fee for dogs $100 - Spay/Neuter voucher for dogs
All unsterilized dogs will require a $100 sterilization deposit (sterile deposits are required by Kansas state law) to be collected at the time of adoption. This deposit is applied to the sterilization of the animal. A voucher will be provided to the veterinarian’s office when your new pet goes for its sterilization appointment. The voucher will be deducted from the veterinarian’s sterilization charge and you are responsible for any additional costs due to the veterinarian at the time of service. If you request additional services from the veterinarian such as a rabies vaccination, etc., the costs for these procedures are also due to the veterinarian at the time of service.
We also offer and recommend microchipping for any pet adopted from HHHS: $25 - Microchip implant as a permanent form of identification that even the trickiest of cats and dogs can’t loose!
Adoption fees for other types of animals:
$5 - Rodent$10 - Rabbit$15 - Domestic Bird$25 - Ferret, Reptile
Return To Owner Fee:
$20 - First day
We hope to see you soon at Helping Hands Humane Society!
